Halloween 2K8--not exactly a success

So, like last year, Halloween was a little overwhelming for young Jacob and he didn't perform too well in the spotlight. He was the most precious elephant you would ever want to see, but unfortunately, no one ever really saw him as one...

Thursday night, our church had their Fall festival where all the kids from the church and community come and there are games, and blow up bouncy toys, and food,etc. AND all the kids dress in their Halloween costumes. We took Jacob up there dressed, and ready to impress, and he threw a royal fit and it got so bad that we left...after 15 minutes. So, if you were there and saw us and we rudely disappeared, that's where we went...home.

That was OK, we knew that Jacob had a second chance to sport the elephant ensemble on Friday night at downtown Clemson's little thing. They close off the streets and all the retailers give out candy to the kids trick or treating. So, again, I got Jacob all ready to go, we brought him down there, and he never even put on his elephant hood this time...then about 15 minutes (again) into the thing, he was ready to get out of the suit. At least there was no fit on Friday. So basically, we have no full body pictures of Jacob in his outfit...I will get him dressed up and get a picture sometime later...until then, here is a snipet of the outfit.
