Yes, that title means I have zero creativity in me right now. Brace yourself for the most boring commentary accompanying these pictures ever.
This may seem like just another shot of our bedroom, but no no--look again. There's a new mattress under those covers! We got that bad boy delivered Wednesday--exciting thing #1 from the week.
P.S. Tempurpedic is changing our (sleeping) lives as we speak.
Like I have been known to do in the past, here is my depiction of Jeff and me at dinner Wednesday night...since we didn't take a picture. Mandy was soooo kind as to come over and watch Jacob and Thomas for us while we went out and had a little grown people lovey dovey time! Exciting thing #2 for the week.
This is what I found when I came out of the bathroom the other morning. Jacob was trying to help Thomas stop crying, so he buckled him (correctly and securely) into his car seat and was dragging him around the house. He also offered him his blanket to help calm him down---all in all, it worked!
So, one microsoft paint picture a night is enough for me...but we went and met some friends for lunch at the little cafe close to our house---just imagine how cute we were, dining outside with 4 kiddies in the 70 degree weather! After that, we went back across the street and met another friend I just met at the park this week and her son for a little more playtime! Here they are playing on the swings (yes, this is the only picture I got of this--I'm not so hot wielding a camera and baby at the same time.). There was LOTS of jumping off high places, digging in the sand, throwing some sand (oops), screaming about tornados coming, etc. It's pretty entertaining! Exciting things #3 and 4.
And then, here is the obligatory Thomas photo shoot:
Jacob finished off the lovely weather day with a little swinging in the backyard with the setting sun in the background. How picturesque of him.
Today, although cooler than yesterday, was still nice- so we headed to First Landing to check out some trails and stuff. Here is Jacob in some sort of wanna-be Native American hut thing.
Jacob scooting around on a fallen tree and Jeff capturing the moment in a most artistic way!
Walking up the log (what a profound caption)
