Clemson Football!

That's right!  You guessed it!  Jeff and Jacob went to a football game two weekends ago and it was a great time had by all!  Since I wasn't there to witness it all firsthand, I've asked a guest blogger to come in and report the deets (details-obvi!((obviously))).  And here he is now!!!!

Since it's been two weeks, I'll just post some pics and captions from Jacob's first game (that he remembers).
Just getting on campus after tailgating with Skins hot dogs. 2 1/2 hours until kickoff.

Tiger Walk. 2 hours until kickoff.

We made it into the stadium, Jacob got a PAW painted on his face and was excited to watch the players warm up.  He didn't want to get out of his seat.  90 minutes until kickoff.

Two of Jacob's favorite players, Nuk and Sammy warming up.

Daniel Rodriguez.  This is what makes Clemson such a special place.
ESPN Story  (google and there are many more out there)

View from the WEZ plaza. 70 minutes until kickoff.

Most exciting 25 seconds in college football.  Jacob was pumped.

 Coin toss.

Tigers win and Jacob gets to go on the field (highlight of the day).  He also got to hold Lateek Townsend's helmet and see a few other players close up.

Rubbing the Rock.

Awesome day overall, can't wait to take him back.

Sillyness

Thomas gets his leg bandaged up by Dr. Jacob

Full On view of the leg cast

I felt like this was a necessary picture because he was looking especially dapper in his overalls

Look at what an awesome big brother Tom cat has!  Jacob got Thomas TOTALLY ready
(and then chaperoned) for his first rollerskating outing...from putting his socks and tennis shoes on to his helmet!

Look at all the cute cheeks in this picture!

And now, for the best video that you have ever, ever, ever seen...here is Jacob being unknowingly taped listening to his "hip-hop" (Sho Baraka; Christian rapper) on his ipod:

Whoops, It's Been Another Month

Hmmmm...blogging isn't my thing lately it would appear, and neither is taking pictures to blog with.  So this is going to be a scrappy little post until Jeff can get some realllly exciting pictures on my computer!

We went to a little carnival in town a few weekends ago and it was fun...well, it was weird for sure-gotta give credit where credit's due-but Jacob really had a fantastic time.  He continued to surprise us in that he wanted to ride rides that I thought were kind of big kid or scary.  I of course kept my mouth shut and didn't say that!  So, he went on a few good rides, each of which cost approximately $4/ride...ummmm, that's ridiculous...and here are a few:

Scrambling:

Although Jacob's face would lead one to believe otherwise, he loved the mini rollercoaster!

Taking a leisurely boat ride:

We've also been working on some fun projects around here, mainly a farmhouse table for the dining room, a bench, some chairs, a rug...you know, trying to piece together a dining room of sorts!  Here's a sneak peek shot I took the other day after the rug arrived:

I'm kind of obsessed with the rug, so here's hoping my other plans for the room will do it justice in the end!  Jeff found those SAWEEEEETTTTT chairs at a thrift store in town, and I'm planning on reupholstering the seat (aka throwing some new foam on there and stapling fabric to it!) and painting the chairs, probably a bright color!  YIPPPEEEE!!
