Smashing Pumpkins

Yes, there are lots of pictures I have from our past couple weeks spent out of town visiting family, but these pictures from this afternoon are just too funny and honestly the number of files to choose from in this batch of pics is much more manageable!

So here it is, our friends had mentioned to us that each year they let their kids take their pumpkins and demolish them with hammers, and this idea seemed perfect for us...and it was.  Jacob was RIDICULOUSLY into smashing the pumpkin...and Tommy just wanted to do whatever Jacob was doing, so SUCCESS!

 umm, confession: I couldn't find two hammers so I gave the children two pieces of rebar! MOTHER OF THE YEAR!! MOTHER OF THE YEAR!!
