Pool Day

Yesterday, while Jeff loaded some more tree junk onto the trailer to be hauled away, I played with the boys outside/laid out in the sun and took some pictures:

CBS Singing

Here is Jacob's end of the year singing event at CBS (Community Bible Study)...we started doing CBS back in Seneca, when Jacob was just Thomas' age, and have loved it and been so thankful to have a class each place that we have moved.   Each year they memorize Bible verses...I think 6 or 8, and Jacob knows all of his from this year!  This was his last year of being in the preschool children's program...next year he will be in the grade school area!  (Our CBS class has a homeschool program, so kids through high school come with their moms)  So...here he is (brace yourself, it's poor cinematography and it's LONG!)

Just a few shots from playtime in the yard today (Jeff's home, so we will now have a camera again!!):

A young Marshall Mathers (for all you old folks, that's Eminem's real name...Eminem the rapper, not to be confused with an M&M wrapper...get it!?!?!)

A Visiting Cont...

So now we are actually visiting the in-laws in SC for a couple days...we've gotten to see cousin Andrew, eat dinner with Amy and David to celebrate Bryant's 55th birthday on Friday, fish in Uncle Calvin's pond, play outside, head to church to witness a most interesting display of worship and teenage revival...something...and we topped today off with a trip to McLeod Farms to pick some strawberries and eat the best strawberry cobbler I have ever tasted!  Since Jeff nabbed the camera to take on his trip to CA, I don't have an awful lot of pictures, but here is what we've managed to capture:

 Farmer Jacob!

A Visiting We Will Go

Well, we have been visiting, but I should also clear up this post title by saying that we were also visited...we've been busy little beavers as usual!

Last week after Easter, dad's girlfriend, Tami, and her daughter Ellianna came and visited us in the new pad for their spring break!  It was a short, but fun and joyful little trip which included playing in the yard, a quick tour of Cartersville, and a day trip to Chattanooga (because who doesn't love Chattanooga?!)....here are some pictures:

We had a great time for the few days the gals were around, and it made my little tiny heart happy to hear stories about Dad from two other people who loved him very much and also miss him very much.  Good times.
